Uploads disappear, original files altered

Hi I’m an investor in the subnet and subscribed to use the product. I’ve tried it a couple of times and found that what I uploaded did not stay uploaded. There are no files available after I close and reopen the desktop app. Also, it seems that the program creates an unwanted copy of the uploaded files/folders to its parent folder (of their location on my hard drive). I understand the product is new and bugs are still being ironed out, but I have paid money for a service which does not appear to be working (and which creates issues with my original storage). Would appreciate any advice/help. Thank you.

My mistake. I found the uploaded files. I didn’t realise I needed to click on All Files to see them. However, the issue remains re: the copying of my original files/folders after I upload them.

Glad you found your files under “All Files” – we’ll look at improving that navigation.

Regarding the file/folder copying issue: that definitely shouldn’t be happening. We’ve opened it as a bug and will investigate. On a broader note, we’re transitioning to a new sync engine that will be more performant. In the meantime, we’ll be pausing the current sync engine to avoid breaking anything during the transition.
